Packing Parties!

Here are pictures from the Puyallup Packing Party in Washington yesterday. Vicky Mohler, Operation Santa coordinator for 9th Communication Battalion, pulled off a wonderfully well organized experience. Oohrah!

Vicky Mohler, Operation Santa coordinator for the 9th Comm Battalion, and Mary Helen Bartch, wife of Col Richard Bartch, currently deployed in support of OIF-II. Mary Helen flew in to help with the packing party and her years of experience with similar projects and organizational expertise were a huge help.

Wow! Our packing party was nothing compared to that! But we will be sending our boxes off today, and we are very excited about it. We did it!

Vicky worked so hard to make this project a success. The packing party in Puyallup was awesome, and Vicky, so are you!

Assisting with the Puyallup moved me so much that I am in already in the planning process of 1000 stockings for Christmas 2005 from the community of Enumclaw, Wa.
It is a sad thought but, I am afraid that there will be service men and women there for sometime. And our support will need to contiue. I just need to find a batallion to tuck under our wings of hope and caring so we can send these stockings of love
It would be great to find one in this area.
Can you help me locate one? I do not have a person in the service so I do not have the connection but I have the heart as does our community.
With deepest Love
