Connected to the Marine Corps Family
Connie and I will be guests on the new MSNBC show, Connected: Coast to Coast today, talking about how we cope with our sons' deployments and how we support other Marine Corps parents through our website and blog. Please tune in, then come back and give us a thumb's up or thumb's down!

Look what I read in the Washington Post today:
"The Marine Corps fell short of its monthly recruiting quota in January for the first time in nearly a decade."

I hope it goes well for you. From what I gather, MSNBC is not military friendly. Ron Regan isn't too happy with the President either, so I hope the interview will be positive, and reamin focused on the Corps and the families in it.

(Also, the above Mary Helen should get a life...act like an American. She obviously, was anti-Clinton.)
My dad served in WW2 (1943-45) My brother served in the military between 1962-66. BOTH MARINE'S.
GOD Bless America!!

You two were great! You explained your website well and corrected the website name. Unfortunately, MSNBC kept showing another website on screen during the interview! They didn't seem well-prepared for the interview. It also followed a story on the CIA and detainees in which Ron Reagan insisted innocent people had been detained and were being tortured with the assistance of the CIA.

Marianne,
I do have a life. I am a Navy brat.Vietnam. I am also a Proud Marine wife and a Navy mom. This is America and I can voice my thoughts. I do not like Ron Regan. I am sorry you didn't like my post. This is America and I am able to speak my mind. That is what my son and Husband are fighting for.

Was disappointed they didn't bother to give your web address. But Google did. Just getting aquainted with site. Hope it's what I've been looking for, some positive side to this war. CNN and Msnbc is all I have been using. Nothing positive seems to make airtime. Will spend time here though. Thanks Moms.

I agree with you Mary Helen. Ron Reagan should stick to the dog shows, he seems very uncomfortable with his role.
But back to the interview, I didn't even know about this site until I saw it so I was thrilled! Good job ladies.
